Slideshows

    The instructional materials for my online courses consist mostly of slideshows, documents, and videos.  Regretfully, some students think that they can learn all they need from the slideshows alone.  You should think of the slideshows as being no more than a fancy outline of the topic.  The details you need to understand the topic are in the documents and videos.  I suggest you use the slideshows this way:

1. For each topic read the slideshow first to an idea of what will be covered.

2. Then read the documents and watch the videos.

3. Later, when prepping for a quiz or an exam, watch the slideshows again for a quick refresher.  If any part of the slideshow is still not clear, go back to the associated document.
