Dr. Karl L. Wuensch

Karl L. Wuensch is a professor in the Department of Psychology at East Carolina University. He received his Ph.D. in experimental psychology (major in comparative psychology, minor in zoology) from Miami University in 1982. The courses he teaches include introductory general psychology and both graduate and undergraduate methods and statistics courses. His research interests include attitudes towards animals, developmental psychobiology, paternal care, evolution, cross-cultural social psychology, forensic psychology, and most anything involving multivariate statistics. Karl's publications appear in a wide variety of journals, as would be expected given his rather catholic research interests.   Karl has been a computer geek for many years, and currently directs the department's computer labs.

Karl takes great pride in his teaching, and has won several teaching awards. If you would like to see what Karl's students have said about his teaching, check out letters from students. Karl's hobbies include horticulture and the brewing (and drinking) of homemade beer.  Personal philosophy:  Arbeit macht das Leben süß.
