Eastern North Carolina Dataset Project
The eastern North Carolina dataset project is the result of a cross-campus project team formed by Vice Chancellor Deirdre Mageean. The goal of the project team was to help identify eastern North Carolina data (ENCD) that can be leveraged by ECU research faculty in connection with externally funded proposal development. External funding agencies tend to prioritize underserved and underrepresented groups during the proposal review and ranking process; therefore, it is in the interest of PIs to include such information in their proposals. Rather than requiring PIs to forage for this information, the intent of the ENCD project is to build a central resource of ENC data not readily available otherwise.
