Tar River Project
This project
involves 1
required Field Trip:

work: Thursday,
09/12. Make an appointment
for your first writing tutorial session BEFORE
the field trip!!
IMPORTANT: Please
be aware that this is hurricane season, hence we may have to reschedule
this field trip. If that happens we will use the next
good-weather class day inthe semester, Please keep your
calendar
free for this eventuality.
Your Tar
River Field Trip Report will combine both field
observations and
laboratory data. The relevant deadlines are as follows (note
that times
are as important as dates!):

1st
draft due: Thursday, 09/19, 12:30
pm. (There is no
required tutorial
session for this draft!)
·
Analysis
of field data: 09/12 - 09/29, including 09/19 and 09/26 lab
sessions.
Field
data due: Monday 09/30, 8:00 am.
·
Draft
1b due:
Thursday,
10/03; 12:30 pm. Writing
tutorial session #1 must occur before 5 pm on
Tuesday, October 1.
Make an appointment
for your next session DURING this session!!

2nd
draft due: Tuesday, 10/17, 9:30
am. Tutorial session #2 must occur BEFORE 5pm on
Friday, October 11. Make an appointment
for your next session DURING session #2!!

Final
Report Due: Thursday,
10/24, 9:30 am.
Final tutorial session must occur BEFORE 5 pm on Tuesday,
October 22.
