Instructions for Payment of Geology
Field Course Fees
for the North Carolina Summer Geology
Field Course
at the Division of Continuing Studies at
East Carolina University
These
instructions are for ALL students, who
plan to enroll in the North Carolina Summer Geology Field Course, administered
by the Department of Geological Sciences at East Carolina University.
All students, who plan to enroll in the Summer Geology Field Course, will need to pay $4500 for Field Course tuition and fees, the money we use to feed, lodge, and transport you and earn you 6 semesters hours of field course credit. A $400 deposit of the $4500 sum is due after you have been officially admitted as a Visiting Summer Student at East Carolina University. Payment of the remaining $4100 is due as noted by the Payment Schedule below:
At least $2100 Payment is due by March 15, 2019, but you may Pay All $4100 by March 15 also.
The remaining $2000 Payment is due by April 12, 2019.
Students, who need financial aid and who do not attend East Carolina University, must apply for financial aid to cover Geology Field Course Tuition and Fees at his/her home university.
You can pay your
Geology Field Course Tuition and Fees by cheque or money order or by Master
Card, American Express, or Discover. Credit Card Payments made with Master Card, American
Express, or Discover are charged a 2.75% Surcharge (Convenience Fee) on the
payment amount. Cheques or Money Orders for payment of Geology Field
Course Tuition and Fees should be made payable to "East Carolina University". At some point in time in the
second half of March and after you have been registered for Geol
4000, you can pay online via debit.
Please contact Ms. Spain or Ms. Paul in the Division of Continuing
Studies for instructions on how to pay online.
