My recent research interests
include planning and implementing learning strategies and techniques and
improving learning materials for the introductory physical and environmental
geology classroom and laboratory. In addition, I have been investigating the
impact of vegetative conversion on landsliding and
the role of large landslide events on mechanical denudation rates of southern
Thailand.
Future research will
focus on tectonic controls of Quaternary erosion rates on the east coast of
Thailand and the origin and geologic controls of tower karst in the Krabi-Phang Nga Bay area along
the west coast of Thailand.
