SPSS for Windows can be a real paper waster, putting page breaks in places that results in most of a page being blank. I have even seen SPSS put only one word on a page and then skip to a new page. I was able to delete page ejects in earlier releases of SPSS, but not now. Perhaps SPSS, Inc., owns stock in paper mills. You can edit the output to delete items that you do not want to print. To delete a entire output box, just select it and hit the delete key. You can also edit the contents of output boxes. Simply double click in the output box you want to edit. When you double click your way into edit mode, the border changes from a solid line to a border made up of slashes. You can delete any text you want and you can add text as well. You can set text in bold, italic, or underlined font, change text colors, etc.  Double clicking on a chart will bring it into the Chart Editor, where you can change various properties of the chart, such as the type and color of lines and markers. 

    I once printed, from SPSS, two independent sample t-tests, each with a single dependent variable. SPSS used 5 sheets of paper to print the output. Outrageous! Every sheet was mostly wasted space. Then I copied the output into a Microsoft Word document --  Since SPSS t-test output is wide, I set Word to landscape orientation (File, Page Setup, Paper Size, Landscape,OK), and printed the document -- it took only 2 pages, and nearly fit on only one.  See my document Exporting SPSS Output to Word for instructions on how to get SPSS output into Word.  Once there, you can edit it in Word.  Charts can be resized in Word, but editing them should be done in SPSS.
