One
Concept of Health
With this module, we begin a semester-long study of health. Each of our 15 Learning Modules will include the five components you see to your right. To open the NOTE SHEET, LESSON or ASSIGNMENT, click on the bullet beside it. The QUIZ for each Module is located under the Quiz button in the main Canvas menu. Be sure to also read the textbook reading assignments for each Module. You will be tested on this material on your final exam.

complete the assignments for this course:
1) Download the ASSIGNMENTS
TEMPLATE Word document now! (Found in Canvas
at the top of the MODULES link.)
2) Open
your downloaded ASSIGNMENT TEMPLATE doc.
3) Type
your Module 1 assignment answers in that
document.
4) After
you've completed your Module 1 assignments in your
ASSIGNMENTS TEMPLATE document, save it to your
computer (back it up too!).
5) When
you move on to Module 2 assignments, open your saved
ASSIGNMENTS TEMPLATE document to record Module 2
assignments. Keep adding to this document as you
proceed through the Assignments from all 15 modules.
6) When you have completed the assignments for all 15 modules, you will upload that ONE completed Assignments Template document to Canvas.

QUIZ
When you have completed the LESSON and filled-in your
NOTE SHEET, go to the "QUIZZES" link.
Choose the Quiz for this module and take it. Remember,
once you start, you only have 10 minutes to take it
and you may only take it once. You are
welcome to use your NOTE SHEET when taking the Quiz.

READING ASSIGNMENT
You should read Chapter 1
"Health in the 21st Century," and Chapter
14 "Consumer Health" with this module.
Complete the "Final Exam Study Guide" for these
chapters as you read. Then you will be way ahead
when it's time to study for your Final Exam.
Remember
the quiz items come from the Lesson and the Final Exam
items come from your textbook reading assignments.

Remember you have
