   Here is a good "Online Guide to Sequence Stratigraphy" from the University of Georgia.  Many of the illustrations I used in lecture came from this web site.

   Check out this animation that simulates the evolution clastic sedimentary geometries.  It shows how the cross section of a basin changes in response to changing base level, as well as the position of the system tracts and the surfaces that define them.
