Camping and Lodging

During our stay in New Mexico and Colorado and on the van-truck trip out and back, we will be camping and staying in lodges or hostels with dorm or bunk rooms respectively.  Hence, students will need camping gear including tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad-thermorest as well as personal items, such as towels and toiletries.  For a complete list of personal, camping, and geologic supplies needed, please click the following link Essential Clothing and Gear

Students and Staff will be camping on the trip out and back as well as at Abiquiu, and Jemez Springs, NM.  In Cuba and Sipapu-Taos, NM, and in Gunnison, CO, students and staff will be housed in bunk, dorm, or cabin style rooms.  At Sipapu Lodge and Three Rivers Resort, blankets, linens, and towels are furnished but not in the bunk rooms at the Circle A Ranch in Cuba, NM.  Hence, students and staff will need their own sleeping bags and towels and other related gear for the duration of the field course.
