First, obtain the SID file (SAS Installation Data file) from ITCS SAS Support. Save the file on your hard drive in a place convenient for you to locate.
Locate the SASRENEW.EXE file
on your hard drive and run it. You may find it via Windows' Start menu
(Start, All Programs, SAS, Utilities, Renew SAS Software) or you may
navigate to it within the Program Files folder (for me, C:\Program
Files\SAS\SAS 9.1\core\sasinst\sasrenew.exe).
It is now three steps to
completion of renewal. Browse your way to the SID file that you just
saved on your hard drive and then click Next.
Click OK.
Click Renew.
It is done.
