    The data from this research are freely available for educational use.  See my StatData Page, the Jury94 files (one for each of the two experiments).

    Here is a snippet of SAS code for bringing in the data from the first experiment and doing a few transformations:

proc format; value sex 1='Male' 2='Female'; value lohi 1='Low' 2='High';
value verdict 1='Guilty' 2='NotGuilty';
data sf; infile 'C:\StatData\jury94.dat';
input id 1-3 age 4-5 sex 6 class 7 verdict 8 guilt 9 @11 (pa pb pc pd pe pf pg
ph pi pj pk pl pm pn po pp pq pr ps) (1.) @31 (da db dc dd de df dg dh di dj dk
dl dm dn do dp dq dr ds) (1.) cell 51 social 53 attract 55 award 57-63;
rlguilt=log10(10 - guilt);rldc=log10(10-dc);rlde=log10(10-de);rldg=log10(10-dg);
laward=log10(1 + award); sraward=sqrt(1 + award);
format sex sex. social attract lohi. verdict verdict.;

   "sex" is sex of the mock juror,  for "verdict," 'Guilty' is finding in favor of plaintiff and 'NotGuilty' is finding in favor of the defendant, "guilt" is a rating of the certainty of guilt, "award" is the recommended monetary award to the plaintiff,  "pa" through "ps" are ratings of the plaintiff,  "da" through "ds" are ratings of the defendant, "social" is the social desirability manipulation, and "attract" is the physical attractiveness manipulation.  You can see the items on the ratings scale here.

    Below is a snippet of SAS code for bringing in the data from the second experiment.
