Congratulations! You have completed Trails 1-4, and are now going to enter a very experimental "recent trend" in English education that I think you'll find interesting and a bit challenging. |

The Brain is... |
The
Big Valley

know so little about the brain, yet have learned so much in the last
10 years. The foundations of education are shaking. |

Short Video (You'll Need Real Audio) |
Optional Power Of the Brain Video This link to real audio sometimes doesn't work. If it doesn't open for you, don't worry, it's an optional reading.I think you'll enjoy listening to it. . . if the link works. |

Keep
in Mind
As you proceed through this trail, think about how you can apply what you learn about the brain to learning. Also note that in the beginning sections, of this trail, there is some general information about the brain that I do not expect you to memorize. Don't let yourself get overwhelmed. Read selectively. |
TIP: Some of you are already collecting data. Good. The earlier the better. I would advise you to keep a research journal and write down thoughts and comments about what you're seeing. It will help you remember what insights you gleaned while processing the research later on. You'll be grateful that you have these notes when you're writing your final document. tbf |
