Biography

Jacques Roumain was born in Haiti on June 4,1907.He was educated in Switzerland, but returned to Haiti to fight for their nationalism.He was exiled from Haiti because he was involved in Marxist politics.Roumain returned to Haiti when the government changed, and was appointed him charge dí affaires in Mexico.His works expresses the rage of lower class people and for the lower class people to unit.Rouamin was a famous pan-African poet of the 1930ís and the 1940ís.He live to be only 37 years old.He died on August 18, 1944.
