Biography

Earl Lovelace was born in Toco, Trinidad on July 13, 1935.Lovelace was raised by his grandparents on the island of Tobago.Lovelace has spent most of his time as a jounalist, playwright, novelist, and a short-story writer.†† He has taught English at the University of the West Indies at St. Augustine.He obtained his M.A. from John Hopkins University in 1974.††
