WASTE DISPOSAL AND CLEAN-UP

  • Collect waste in the container at the side bench.
  • The waste will be neutralized with NaOH and then flushed down the drain.
  • Rinse the stir bar calorimeter, graduated cyclinder and temperature probe.
  • Leave the stir bar on the top of the magnetic stirrer.
  • Other equipment can be left at the workstation for the next class.
