EQUIPMENT

The specific equipment used will depend on the procedures your group decides to use. The lists below are some probable and possible equipment you may use.

  • Balance (for weighing samples of primary standard and unknown)
  • 50 mL Burette with clamp (for performing titration)
  • 100 mL beaker and funnel (for filling burette)
  • 250 mL Erlenmeyer flasks (for titrations)
  • Piece of white paper (to be placed under flask during titrations)

Possible additional equipment which may or may not be required:

  • Volumetric pipette(s) and rubber bulb
  • Florence flask with stopper
