Gravimetric Determination of Water of Hydration


WASTE DISPOSAL

The anhydrous solid should be disposed of in the solid waste container on the side lab bench labeled "Hydrate Waste." Unused hydrate should be disposed of in the same "Hydrate Waste" container.

CLEAN-UP

Clean and replace your equipment to your student locker. Leave the desiccator on the lab bench at your station. Rinse the sample vial and cap and place them in the designated container for clean vials. Wipe down your lab bench with a sponge. Wash your hands before leaving the lab.
