There are several help resources. 

If you would like to use Blackboard CourseInfo to create your courses and you have never used the system, contact your Instructional Technology Consultant. They will sign you up for a course, and provide you with basic information. [Note: If you were part of the Fall 1999 Pilot Project, you will still need to contact your ITC and have them add you to the database.]

If you have an administrative question contact the Bb Administrator.

If you have a question about developing course content, contact your Instructional Technology Consultant.

If you have been entered into the Blackboard Database and would like to perform routine administrative tasks like creating a new course, putting a course in the gateway or exporting a course go to the Blackboard Database

If your students need help with Blackboard CourseInfo, you have several choices: 

They can read the official Blackboard CourseInfo manual by clicking on the Student Tools button. Click on Student Manual located in the lower right hand side of the choices. 

They can visit the course, Student Help 1000. This course was developed by East Carolina University and has help for all the tools you will use. 

They can call the Help Desk [252.328.6866]. The hours 7:30 AM EST to 7:00 PM EST.


If you would like to have tutorials created for you students contact the Blackboard Administrator. These tutorials will be placed in Student Help 1000.
