Modifying
Users
Once users are registered into a course, an instructor can modify a
user's role in Role and Availability. The instructor cannot modify
Personal or Account Information once the student has been
enrolled.
Note: Consult the system administrator if this function is disabled.
To modify user information:
Step 1: From
the
Control Panel, select Modify User under User Management.
Step 2: Click the user ID link of the individual you would like
to modify.
Note: The Personal and Account Information sections
can be disabled by the System Administrator, making them unavailable for
modification.
Step 3: Make the appropriate changes and click Update buttons.
Note: If you change a user's password, be sure to notify them.
The password grants a user access to the CourseSite and all functions within
it.
Step 4: A receipt will appear to confirm the changes. You may continue
working in the Modify User feature by selecting
Back or return to
the Control Panel or Course by selecting the appropriate
button from the top of the course window.
