Buttons
There are five instructor control buttons located on the CourseSite:

Resources:

This button links directly to Blackboard, Inc. online resources to assist with all course development issues.

Course Map:

This button gives you direct access to the contents in Course Information, Staff Information, Course Documents, Assignments, and External Links. This button is only functional in the Course View.

Search:

This button provides access to search all course materials by criteria. For step by step instructions on the Search feature, please see the Search section located in the Working with Page Editors/Adding Course Content section of this manual.

  
                 Control Panel:
This button provides the instructor access to all course development and management tools.

Using Course Map
Course Map is a function that will quick jump you to Course Information, Staff Information, Course Documents, Assignments, and External Links.

Note: This function is only available in 4.0 or higher browsers (Internet Explorer or Netscape). To access sections: Step 1: Click Course Map within the Control Buttons.


 


Step 2: A small window will appear. Click the book next to the section you would like to enter.
 
 
Step 3: The contents of the section will be displayed as links. Click the desired link.


 


Step 4: The link will open in the course page.
