Searching for Content

CourseInfo contains a Search feature for both instructor and student use. The Search looks for specific items by pattern matching criteria with content titles and added text. The instructor can designate both the search criteria and the areas to search within the course.

To search:

Step 1: Click the Search button located in the Course window.

Step 2: Enter the term or characters that you would like to locate in the Search For text box.

Step 3: Optionally, constrain the search to certain areas of the course by selecting the appropriate areas from the Restrict Search to area.

Step 4: Click the Search button.

Step 5: The results will appear in the Search Results area.
