Text:Immunology, 5th Edition by Janis Kuby

Biol. 6190 is an advanced immunology course. BIOL 5190-Immunology (or equivalent) is a prerequisite for this course. Teaching will consist of a combination of lecture, class discussion, and review of current scientific literature, including student presentation of scientific papers. Open discussion is encouraged at nearly any time.

Grading Policy and Exam Procedures
Grading policy: Grades will be based on two one-hour exams (30% of your final grade each), a comprehensive final exam (35% of your final grade), and class participation (5% of your final grade). Failure to take an exam at the assigned time and date, unless the instructor is notified early and agrees to a change, will result in a zero for that exam. Students with excused absences from any of the exams may be allowed to take a comprehensive makeup exam on Tuesday, April 30.
