The Tropical Forestry Initiative is an organization formed by eight persons of diverse professional backgrounds who share a concern about the loss of tropical forests and have joined to demonstrate that rainforests can be restored by planting and managing indigenous tree species. Our 350 acre farm, named Los Arboles, is ideal for tree nursery research and production, plantations of indigneous tree species, and management of primary and secondary forests.
