Student Resources
Collections: Reserve and Reference
The Media Center has historically acquired other special collections for the use of the faculty and students. Donated special collections include a variety of reference books on african art. These were acquired from Dr. James W. Lankton now part of the SOA's African Art Collection. Other collections included personal books from faculty and the NC Museum of Art. Some of these collections have been passed on to ECU's Joyner Library for the lack of physical space of the Media Center. Other features of our collection include museum and exhibition catalogs and a wide variety of reference books.
Materials are also deposited by faculty for the use of students for specific courses. These include study resources like slides, personal books, periodicals and videos.
The Media Center serves as a liason from the SOA to Joyner Library.
